Introduction
Founded in August of 2000, One-Way Evangelistic Ministries is a multifaceted local, national and global outreach ministry. Although a relatively new ministry, God has allowed us the opportunity to share the Gospel with literally thousands of people--many of whom would be considered America's outcasts--from American Indians to the kids in the ghettos. Many of these opportunities include the Plains, the Midwest United States and locally in detention centers, colleges, nursing homes, churches, etc.
Beyond our borders we regularly lead international short-term mission teams to Trinidad, West Indies and Guyana, South America. Additionally, we have secured long-term follow-up by working with their local churches and by the placement of our long-term missionaries.
One-Way is a faith-based, nonprofit religious organization recognized by the IRS (officially, a 501c3). All of our ministries, prgrams and missionaries are funded by partners who join with us to financially support this work. All gifts of support are receipted and tax deductible.
Our Purpose
OWEM exists to primarily evangelize the lost for Christ with compassion and urgency, in accordance with the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). Our desire is to maximize each opportunity by cultivating, reviewing and sharpening our methods to communicate the unchanging Gospel message locally, nationally and globally.
Our Mission
Our mission is to present the Lord Jesus Christ as the world's only Savior, exclusively, unequivocally and uncompromisingly.
This premise is based upon John 14:6-Jesus said unto him, "I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." This message is timeless, clear, inflexible and remains contrary to today's secular trends and movements.
Our methods of ministry include short and long-term international mission, itinerant speaking, steelpan evangelistic outreaches and performance arts programs.
Our Vision
To take the Gospel to the ends of the earth with a sense of balance and passion (Acts1:8-"....you shall be witnesses unto me BOTH in....")
Locally:

Reaching out to the needs of inner city Cheyenne, WY, including, but not limited to-the Homeless Shelter, Transitional Center, Detention Center, Jail, Nursing Homes and Community College. Future goals include ministries to the unchurched and unreached youth in the city of Cheyenne through sporting activities, counseling and Bible studies.
Nationally:

Reinforcing the efforts to reach the lost in the United States. Reaching out to the Indian Reservations, urban and rural communities through prayer, staff efforts, mission trips and eventually sending in long-term missionaries.

Employing two primary methods:

*Cross-Cultural Diverse Opportunities--Partnering with mission teams from foreign cultures to reach Americans with the Gospel through the steelpan musical missionary teams which allow us a platform to reach in to closed areas with the Gospel.
The OWEM Evangelists and staff speaking in crusades, camps, youth rallies, personal evangelism and performance arts.
